Couldn't be happier!. I love my Swiss Rolex Datejust. First, I ordered a similar style but it was Japanese movement. When I got it, I wished I would have just spend the extra money for Swiss movement... not that it was a bad looking watch, but I prefer the second hand should move smoothly, instead of ticking motion. I sent it back and the company worked with me (no problems at all) to exchange it for a Swiss model -- Which I LOVE! It's perfect. I held it next to an authentic model and I couldn't tell the difference!

How good does the gold plating hold up for fading and wearing?

Swiss replicas have triple wrapped gold plating.
All of our replica watches are made from a resistant stainless steel metal alloy. The ones that are gold plated are then further coated with a protective layer for more resistance. This insures that their color will not turn or fade with time and use. However, you will have to take care of them and try not to let them get scratched.
