Yes,The Swiss version is more expensive because there are differences in the movement and the mechanism we use. Swiss replica models have Swiss made ETA automatic movement, 25 jewels. Japanese replicas have Miyota automatic movement, 21 jewels. The quality of stainless steel is better in Swiss models.
The Swiss watches have a high quality movement which offer a smooth sweeping movement of the second hand
The Japanese movement is also very good and the second hand sweeps smoothly, but not as on the Swiss watches.
