No, the chronographs on our Japanese models are not functional. The chronographs only work on our Swiss model watches, this is a Japanese model and as such the chronographs are for show only. If you want a watch will working sub dials, you will need to buy a Swiss model watch.

Watch for son. After spending a lifetime raising two children as a divorced father, working 2 jobs and helping others in my spare time in various nonprofits and charities,I felt it was time to do something for myself when I turned 70. Many friends who I worked with in my volunteer work were wealthy, wonderful people who wished to give back. They all had the trappings of wealth-wearing expensive watches such as Rolex, Breitling etc. I had no watch to wear. I never was ashamed, nor felt badly yet I admit I wished to one day own a prestigious timepiece. My son had a birthday and one day before enlisting in the Army I wished to buy a watch for him, not me. I found your site. After overcoming my natural suspicions of online buying, and a lot of research, I decided to buy a watch from your site. I spoke to a lady who was pleasant, sincere and helpful as I had a budget and was concerned about quality for the hard earned dollars I had to spend. Further I had a time window as his b-day was in 2 weeks. I ordered the watch, still hesitant about my order. It arrived. It was gorgeous. Before presenting it to my child, I took it to a friend who was wealthy, owned a huge collection of watches, the Breitling amoung his favorites as he was a pilot of his private aircraft. He examined it, (he was wearing his at the time)and was amazed at the fine detail, workmanship, and weight. He was not told it was a replica-and congratulated me on choosing a fine timepiece. My heart soared, as I presented it to my son before his departure-and to this day, my friend congratulates me on my choice. Thanks Perfect Watch-it was perfect for my needs. His happiness trumped my needs. One day it will be my turn. For now- I am a proud dad.

Happy Customer. I have several Breitlings this one is pretty close to the original.
I wear this watch daily.
Pros: Looks real sort of, you can tell the difference.
Cons: crown, clasp, weight, no glow in the dark markers.
